B. R. K. aka Marko Anzu started studying music at the age of 10 and his primal influences are rooted between 80’s heavy metal music together with 90’s euro dance and his first approach to live experience starts at the early age of 13 playing around the underground metal clubs in Rome with his first thrash metal bands.
Inspired by the sound of Lab4 and Yoji Biomehanika he started his own party MASSIVE in 2008 with the aim to spread Hard NRG through the Italian underground.
He signed under the Finnish label FINRG Recordings in 2011 with his first release ”Keep On Pushing” followed by a B2B set with Dj Heathen at 10 YEARS OF FINRG event in 2012.
2013 saw the birth of his first full length album ”Genesis” followed by his second official release ”Hated”out in 2015 reaching with it all of the major nr.1 rankings of Trackitdown hard dance charts.
This release is followed by a remix album called ”Re//Birth” featuring remixes by Cally, Eryk Orpheus, Francesco Zeta, Nish, Dark by Design and many more together with lots of other top ranking tracks for the English label Ominous Recordings and the Australian hard trance label Fatal Energy.
Two major singles in collaboration with his Japanese friend Dj Guld ” Brothers Never Die ( The Atomik Samurai )” and Dj Neon from the Finnish Full Circle crew are released between 2017 and 2018.
2020 it’s the year of his first E.P. in collaboration with Freeform master Eryk Orpheus followed in 2021 by their second E.P. ”Vega” under Eryk Orpheus’ label Intellitrance Recordings.
His trademark sound called Dark NRG combines classic Hard Trance melodies with lots of movie samples and harder techy groovy rhythm balanced between 145 and 160 B.P.M.
Leading his live performances through U.K., Japan, Finland and Italy besides his hard trance career B. R. K. is also involved in other projects like his death blues solo RVDRA and the black death metal band INFERNALIEN as guitar player.
